One Piece anime is only few chapters behind the Manga. In the Latest Chapter of One Piece Manga Chapter- 1043, there was biggest reveal ever in One Piece History.
Joyboy has awakened within Luffy, Zunesha herself confirmed it. Well we don't know anymore than that but Luffy has awakened his Devil Fruit and with that chapter ended.

So as in the last picture shown in manga,that next week will be on break so One Piece 1044, which was going to release on 18th of March 2022, its new release date has been scheduled on 25th of March 2022.
One Piece 1044 might show us, did Luffy really awaken his Devil Fruit or Is it new Gear Application or Gear 5th itself but one thing is confirmed that Kaido is gonna get his ass kicked by Luffy which fans are eagerly to wait.
